Photography has always been a passion of mine. I now enjoy the simplicity of shooting with an old Kodak Duaflex camera with 120mm film, and appreciate the modern flexibility of my mirrorless Nikon Z8 when I take it on a hike or to a sporting event. I usually come back with way more photos than needed, and dig through them to find something worthy of post-production. The opposite holds true with the Duaflex, in which every negative is precious and more dutifully composed. The balance between these two approaches pushes my learning with every outing.
